Getting Parole

• Speak to the prison guard to apply. You'll be quoted a parole fee (half of what early release would cost) plus a $5,000 refundable deposit for a GPS ankle monitor
• Not everyone qualifies: certain serious charges block parole, the arresting officer decides eligibility when filing the report, and a recent parole or an unserved violation means you'll be turned away
• Once accepted you're released immediately wearing an ankle monitor, and your parole clock starts. It only counts down while you're in the city

Staying Clean

• Getting arrested, picking up a warrant, or cutting off the monitor breaks your parole: your original charges are re-applied at 1.5x on a warrant, and you lose the right to parole until you've served a full sentence behind bars
• Keep your head down until the clock runs out, then hand the monitor in at any police front desk to get your deposit back
• Died and lost your monitor? A replacement is fitted once you're back on your feet
• Check your remaining time any time with /parole

For Officers

• New Parole app on the MDT: everyone on parole at a glance, live tracking status, time remaining, and links to their sentencing report and any violation warrant
• Citizen records show parole status up front, and arrest reports warn you when a suspect is on parole or currently ineligible
• Automatic violation warrants can't have their increased penalties edited down

• Officers provision each monitor on the MDT: name it, set how long it runs, an optional start time, and draw restricted or required zones on the map, with optional curfew hours per zone
• Fitted monitors are tracked live on a new Ankle Monitors MDT app: positions on the map, movement history, and a full event timeline per monitor
• Stepping outside the conditions alerts the wearer first, then sends police a dispatch call. Cutting the strap does the same, drops evidence at the scene, and puts an automatic warrant on the wearer with a new Tampering with an Ankle Monitor charge
• Expired monitors are handed in at any police front desk or removed by an officer

• Interaction points are now animated markers instead of flat dots. They sit small and subtle until you look at them, then grow and light up blue
• The centre reticle snaps to blue and pings when something interactable is under it, and corner brackets frame the vehicle, person or object you're targeting
• A small header above the options tells you what you're targeting, including model and plate for vehicles, with a live distance readout that updates as you move
• Options keep their familiar size and position so your muscle memory still works, but now use the STRP colour scheme, animate in, and highlight clearly on hover. Longer option names no longer get cut off

Citizen Record Redesign

• New booking-style header: mugshot (click to enlarge), name and citizen number, key details, and live status flags (wanted, on parole, GPS monitor) visible the moment the record opens
• A record summary shows total reports, arrests, outstanding warrants and total fines at a glance
• Officer notes now live in the header with a one-line preview. Expand to read or edit the full note
• Licenses and monitoring/parole information sit side by side, with long monitor history collapsed until you need it

Faster Screens

• The staff roster, incident list, officer report history and suspect record lists all open noticeably faster
• Opening a busy MDT page no longer causes a brief hiccup for everyone online
• The evidence picker when writing a report loads quicker

• Heavy screens like the MDT, the dealership showroom and the marketplace now load their data in the background instead of one big burst, so opening a busy page no longer causes a brief hiccup for everyone online
• Screens now fetch only what they actually display, so lists and menus open noticeably faster, especially ones with a lot of history behind them
• A vehicle's market price history now opens quickly even for popular models with a long sales record

• High purity ores are now worth their full value at the workbench: a tier VI coal ore crafts into 6 coal fuel instead of 1, gem cutting works the same way, the craft menu's MAX count shows what your ores are actually worth, and payouts match the refinery
• Certain chairs now seat you in the right spot instead of floating above or clipping into the seat, and some seats that previously couldn't be used are now sitable

• Fixed a long-standing bug where body armor silently vanished when you entered your house or apartment. Armor now carries through the door as expected. If you lost armor to this bug, contact staff for compensation
• Fixed business delivery notifications saying the wrong thing to the customer during certain interactions
• Fixed the MDT Evidence app crashing when opening certain records, most commonly bodycam evidence saved without footage or a description
• Saving an MDT report with a very long title or location now shows exactly which field is too long and what the limit is, with a character counter as you approach it, instead of failing with a generic error
• Fixed an internal access token issue
