📷 Camera Rebuilt

The camera has been rebuilt to feel like a real phone camera.

• Live viewfinder. Your phone sits in the corner showing exactly what the camera sees, with Video, Photo and Landscape modes, quick zoom buttons, a grid, the flash and your latest shot. A panel in the top left lists every key
• New keys. Enter takes a photo or starts and stops a video, ↑ flips to selfie, ← and → change mode, E switches between flash off, flash on and flashlight, Z and C tilt the camera, scroll zooms and Esc puts the camera down. Press Alt to use your mouse on the phone's buttons, and tap the bar at the bottom to go back to your phone
• Smooth zoom. From a 0.5x ultra wide to 5x, gliding rather than jumping between levels
• Never in your own shot. You no longer show up in photos when crouching or after zooming, and filming from a car looks right
• Better selfies. Your character holds the phone out at arm's length, with 0.5x and 1x zoom
• Film on the move. Walk and run in any direction, backwards included, with the camera up
• Photos. Photo mode saves the upright shot you see on the phone, and Landscape saves the full wide view. Photos no longer sometimes save an older picture instead of the one you took

🏃 Use Your Phone on the Move

• On foot. Walk, run and jump with your phone open
• Driving. Keep driving with your phone open, and get in or out of cars
• Look around. Press Alt to let go of the phone and look around with your mouse, and press it again to go back to your phone
• Weapons. Opening your phone or its camera puts your weapon away, and you can't aim or shoot while it's out

🖼️ Photos Gallery Upgrade

• Room for everything. Keep up to 10,000 photos and videos, up from 200
• Opens fast. Photos load as you scroll, so even a huge gallery opens straight away
• In date order. Sorted by when each photo was taken, with a Newest first and Oldest first switch to reach your oldest photos in one tap
• Month headings. The gallery is split by month, so older photos are easy to find
• At a glance. See how many photos and videos you have, and filter to just photos or just videos

🎬 Video Fixes

• Videos that failed to save now save properly
• Your voice is recorded while you talk, along with the people around you, even if you start recording straight after switching to video
• Videos show their length in the gallery and you can skip through them straight away

🔧 Phone Fixes

• Calls by keyboard. Answer calls with Enter, and decline or hang up with Backspace. Neither fires while a menu is open
• Pressing Esc to put your phone away no longer opens the pause map, and clicking outside your phone no longer closes it
• Dark World opens at phone size instead of unfolding your phone into a tablet
• Soft app icons now show their colour and glow for everyone, instead of a plain outline on some players' games
• The full screen call screen and the arrow showing which way you're facing on Maps now display properly for everyone
• Lawyer request notifications now appear in your language

🎯 Recoil Adjustments

• Machine pistols, SMGs, rifles and battle rifles kick a little harder and sway a little more when you fire
• Newer shooters feel a little more extra kick, and it now takes a few more Shooting levels for it to fade out completely

🎛️ Stream Deck Controls

The STRP Commands Stream Deck plugin (1.5.0) can now control music speakers.

• Which speaker. The speaker in the car you're sitting in. On foot, it's a speaker you've linked: look at a speaker or car with the third eye and pick Link to Stream Deck (only shown while your Stream Deck is connected), or open a speaker group with /speakergroup. Until then the deck shows NO SPEAKER, and TOO FAR when you've walked away from it
• Speaker key. Play and pause, next song, restart song and open the speaker panel. Turn the speaker volume up, down or set it, which changes it for everyone, or change only what you hear with My volume, the same setting as /speakervolume. There's also an Unlink key
• Music Multi. Tap to play or pause, double tap for the next song, hold to open the speaker panel
• Speaker Dial. The screen shows the song name, the speaker volume and your volume. Turn it for the speaker volume, or hold it in and turn for your volume. Push to play or pause, double push for the next song, and tap the touch strip to open the speaker panel
• Keys grey out when you're not allowed to do something. In someone else's car you still see what's playing

🚗 Better Sound

• A speaker fitted to your car now plays in full stereo when you're inside the car, so songs sound the way they should instead of flat and centred
• Speakers turned up past 100% volume no longer crackle or distort on loud parts of a song

🚗 Garages: NOS Kept When Stored

• NOS left in your car is no longer lost when you put it in a garage. Store a car with half a bottle left and it comes back out with half a bottle
• Only cars put away in a garage keep their NOS. A car that's impounded, recovered or destroyed loses whatever was left in it

🚓 Police

• The police helicopter spotlight now shows for everyone around, not just the pilot
• Police now need 3 officers taking part, down from 4, to get the bonus payout when evidence is handed in, so smaller shifts can earn it too

🍷 Shops

• Selling your plain wine or vodka no longer takes your rarer bottles along at the plain price. Each rarity now sells on its own row at its own price
• The sell screen closes properly when you walk away from the shop, go down, or get released from prison partway through selling

🏠 Housing

• Renting a property that staff have closed off, such as some shops, now costs rent every week like any other rental, and missed payments count towards eviction as normal. Nobody is charged for the weeks that were skipped
