Patch Notes

One Device, Two Sizes

• Folds between a phone and a full tablet, and remembers which you prefer
• Finishes and cases for the device, with extra VIP finishes
• 12 wallpapers, and the phone's colours follow the one you pick (or use one of your photos)
• Soft or Colour app icons
• A short setup the first time you open it

Home Screen

• App folders, drag apps anywhere, and search your apps
• An App Store: install and uninstall apps, including the built-in ones like Shellspace and Shellmates
• Notifications on your lock screen and in the notification shade. Tap one to open what it's about

Messages and Calls

• Group chats with admins and invites
• Send photos, share your location, send money and request money right in a conversation
• Hide your number when you call, block numbers, and use speakerphone
• Quick Share. Send a contact or a photo to someone standing nearby

Camera and Photos

• A camera that glides from 0.5x to 5x, with selfies, landscape mode, flash and torch
• Video recording that picks up the voices of people around you
• A gallery for 10,000 photos and videos, sorted by month, newest or oldest first, with a photos and videos filter
• A photo editor with crop, adjust, filters and markup, then send it, share it or set it as your wallpaper

Apps

• State Portal. Your record, licences, medical visits, impounds (pay the fee from your phone) and the penal code
• Shellspace. The city's social feed
• Shellmates. Swipe, match and chat
• Notes with labels and pins, and a Clock with alarms, timers and a stopwatch
• Maps with saved places and postal search
• Wallet and Garage: your balance and payments, and where every car is
• Roadmap. The server roadmap in your pocket
• Privacy. Streamer mode hides message previews and your notes on screen

Stream Deck Controls

The STRP Commands Stream Deck plugin (1.5.0) can now control music speakers.

• Which speaker. The speaker in the car you're sitting in. On foot, link one by looking at a speaker or car with the third eye and picking Link to Stream Deck (only shown while your Stream Deck is connected), or open a speaker group with /speakergroup. Until then the deck shows NO SPEAKER, and TOO FAR when you've walked away from it
• Speaker key. Play or pause, next song, restart song and open the speaker panel
• Speaker volume. Up, down or set. This changes the volume for everyone
• My volume. Up, down, set or no limit. This only changes what you hear, and it's the same setting as /speakervolume, so the two stay in sync
• Music Multi. Tap to play or pause, double tap for the next song, hold to open the speaker panel
• Speaker Dial. Shows the song name, the speaker volume and your volume. Turn it for the speaker volume, or hold it in and turn for your volume. Push to play or pause, double push for the next song, and tap the touch strip to open the speaker panel
• Keys grey out when you're not allowed to do something. In someone else's car you still see what's playing

Sound Fixes

• A speaker fitted to your car now plays in full stereo when you're inside the car, so songs sound the way they should instead of flat and centred
• Speakers turned up past 100% volume no longer crackle or distort on loud parts of a song

Department Discord Roles

On EU, police and EMS job roles are now given in the department Discords instead of the main Space Turtles Discord.

• Police. Roles are given in the STRP LEO JTF Discord
• EMS. Roles are given in the STRP EMS Discord
• Join your department Discord. Anyone who isn't in it gets no roles. Your job roles update on your next promotion, demotion or hire, and your certification roles when you next log in
• Certifications now give their Discord roles too: OIA for police and FTO for EMS
• Moving between police and EMS now removes your old job's roles

Vangelico

• Smashing jewellery cases one after another now pays for every case, instead of some cases giving nothing
• The vault's reinforced cases always give the artifact from the case you cut
• Long drills and safe cracks no longer time out
• Backing out of a one-try hack no longer causes problems

Store Robberies

• When a shopkeeper fights back and the fight drags on, the tills and safe can still be looted once they're down, instead of the loot being refused

Fairer Field Jobs

• If you lose connection partway through a field job, the site is no longer locked out for you when you come back
• Field jobs done from a vehicle, as a passenger or from a heli too, now pay out even if you've moved off while finishing the escape
• Chained RF hacks no longer skip payouts

Garages

• NOS left in your car is no longer lost when you put it in a garage. Store a car with half a bottle left and it comes back out with half a bottle
• Only cars put away in a garage keep their NOS. A car that's impounded, recovered or destroyed loses whatever NOS was left in it

Tow Trucking

The flatbed you rent at the tow yard can now be used for the whole job.

• Abandoned vehicle callouts show up on your map in a rented truck
• Cars loaded with the ramp can be impounded at the lot
• If an impound doesn't go through, you can try again straight away instead of being stuck
• You no longer need to be clocked into tow service. Any flatbed you're driving counts

Dealership Plates

• Custom plates in the Plates tab of the business tablet now always match what's really on your vehicles
• A custom plate no longer shows as on a vehicle that isn't wearing it. If a vehicle's plate was changed some other way, the custom plate goes back to your plate list as a parked plate, ready to fit or sell
• Parking a custom plate your vehicle is no longer wearing no longer swaps out the plate it actually has on

Housing

• Players renting a property that staff had closed off, such as some shops, were never charged rent. Rent on these properties is now collected every week like any other rental, and missed payments count towards eviction as normal. Nobody is back-charged for the weeks that were skipped

Shops

• Selling your plain wine or vodka bottles no longer takes your rarer bottles along with them at the plain price. Each rarity now always sells at its own price
• The sell screen closes properly when you walk away from the shop, go down, or get released from prison partway through selling
